Terms & Conditions

All purchases of cakes, desserts and chocolates made by Harlequin Dessert and Harlequin Chocolate are subject to the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website.

We collect contact information including name, email, phone number, address, but will not share with third parties without consent. IP address, browser version, device version are collected for diagnostics. Credit card information is stored by Square.

Chocolates should be stored in 12 – 18°C to avoid spoilage. Refer to storage recommendations at delivery time for cakes and desserts. Cakes should be brought up to room temperature for best eating pleasure.

All cakes and chocolates are made using the same equipment used for making cakes containing allergens. Every effort is made to control for contamination with ingredients and equipment containing gluten, dairy and nuts, however there may be traces in all Harlequin Dessert cakes, desserts and chocolates listed as gluten free, dairy free, nut free and vegan. Harlequin Dessert cannot be held liable for any reactions caused from ingredients or edible flowers used.

Suggested serving sizes are based on standard coffee portions of 2.5 x 2.5cm or dessert portions of 2.5 x 5cm. Actual servings cannot be guaranteed to match the suggested total portions, depending on person and method of cutting the cake.

All prices are in Australian dollars including GST. Quotes are valid for two weeks from date of issue. We reserve the right to change any pricing listed on the website at any time. To confirm your wedding date booking, a 30% deposit is required.

Free delivery is offered within 5km of Harlequin Dessert business address depending on size, time of delivery and notice of order. Other delivery and presentation fees will be quoted before time of delivery. Harlequin Dessert is not liable for any loss of damage caused by third parties, or responsible for any delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances.

If any products arrive damaged, please contact Nadia immediately to discuss. Refunds of deposits or payments cannot be made unless there is an issue with the quality of the product.

Stands hired must be delivered back to Harlequin Dessert in the same condition as hired and clean, the next day or incur a $50 fee.

Harlequin Dessert reserve the right to use any photographs of products ordered for display or promotion without compensation to the customer.
